Robert G. Badgerow, 79, of Harrison, Ark., and formerly of Le Mars, Iowa, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

Robert was born June 4, 1924, in Moville, Iowa, the son of Bert and Lillian Badgerow. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1945 to 1946, and then married his wife, Carol Higginbotham, on May 9, 1946.

He was a farmer, bus driver, and member of the Masonic Lodge and White Shrine Orders. He moved to Harrison, Ark., in 1973 and worked for Flexsteel for 22 years before retiring in 1996.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; a half-sister, Thelma Arnold of Diamond City, Ark.; two sons, Bruce of Kingsley and John and his wife, Myrna of Houma, La.; 3 daughters and their husbands, Judy and Roger Muecke of Sioux City, Debra and Robert Reeg and Bonnie and Mike Evans, all of Harrison, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, with the Rev. Paul Evans officiating.
