Adams Floyd Parks, Jr.Sept. 8, 1929 - Oct. 27, 2011 Floyd was born in Augusta, Ga. and attended Richmond Academy, graduated from Millen High School, served in the Marines during World War II and Korean War. His scholastic achievements included attending Ga. Teachers College, graduate of the University of Ga, Rutgers University with a masters in banking, received his law degree from Woodrow Wilson. He was Senior Vice Pres. of Fulton National Bank, employed by SBA and retired from FCA. He was a member of the Graydon Sunday School Class at Oak Grove Methodist Church. Survived by his wife Barbara Tallent, daughters and spouses: Mary Ellen and Charles Cheek, Karen and Chris Javo, Alethea and David Eisner, 8 grandchildren, sisters, brothers and spouses: Floretta and H. T. Clifton, Nancy Baker, Larry and Sheryl Adams, Barbara and Tommy Roberson, Mike and Terri Adams, David and Paula Adams, Charlene and Frank Millheim. Visitation 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 30 and service to follow at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 1722 Oak Grove Rd, Decatur, Ga. 30033. Burial at Floral Hills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Music fund at Oak Grove Church. A. S. Turner & Sons.
