Sandra 'Sandy' Jeanne Wilson Rollins 72,
passed away April 14, 2011, at her home on the Weiser Flatt (Weiser, Idaho), surrounded by her living family and friends. Services will be held Tuesday, April 19th at 11 a.m. at the Thomason Funeral Chapel, Weiser, Idaho.
Sandy was born Feb. 16, 1939, to Len and Helen Wilson in Council, Idaho. She was the youngest of three daughters. She graduated from Weiser, High School in 1957. Sandy married Ben Jerry Rollins (Gerald Ben Rollins whom Sandy liked to call: "Jerry")in Elko, Nevada on June 16, 1957. They had three boys, Todd, Deri, and Wade.
She worked for her dad at Jerry's Drive-In, the Star Theater, Homer-West Insurance Co., and together she and Ben (Jerry) owned and operated Mack's Grocery and farmed on the Oregon Slope. Her most prized and loved job was wife and mother.
Sandy was a longtime member of Loyaute Chapter No. 19 of the Order of Eastern Star in Weiser. Sandy loved to go camping, snowmobing and ATVing with her family and many friends.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband and friend, Ben (Jerry); her sons and daughters-in-law Deri-(Maggie) and Wade (Georgia); grandchildren, Lacy, Josh, Cody, Brandie, Chande, Hailie, and Justin; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Billie (Chuck) Holson; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Rollins, and Nolan (Bonnie) Rollins; and many neices and nephews.
Sandy was preceeded in death by her son, Todd; her parents Len and Helen Wilson; a sister, Joan Wilson; father and mother-in-law Nate and Julie Rollins and mother-in-law Joan Rollins.
Sandy will be greatly missed by her loving family, many friends and special caregiver/friend Heather Curtis, and life-long friends Karen Peterson and Dorothy Widener.
