Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Czapla, 76, resident of Duncan and community for many years, who died there Saturday were held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic church in Duncan, with Rev. Fr. George Mikulski, pastor, officiating. The pallbearers were six grandsons: Frank Stempek, Edd Sokol, Leo Iwan, Raymond Staroski, Stephen Czapla and Robert Pilokowski.

Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the services were Ven Sr. M. Eleutheria (her sister) of Omaha; Louis (son) Czapla, Alexander Przywieczerski, Stanley Obrycki, Helen and Mary Liss, all of Watkins Glen, N.Y.; Mrs.(daug) Floyd Ross and son; Robert and William Iwan of De Soto, Kan.; Mrs. and Mrs. Stanley Vobrol and Miss Genevieve Liss of Primrose; Mr. and Mrs. George Kosa and son, Mr.(son) and Mrs. Andrew Czapla and daughters, Mr.(son) and Mrs. Leo Czapla and family of Fullerton; Mr. and Mrs.(daug) Frank Sokol, Mr. and Mrs. Edd Sokol and son, Eddie and Walter Sokol, all of St. Edward; Mr.(son) and Mrs. Walter Czapla and family; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kosiba and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pilokowski and Mrs. and Mrs. Ben Rosno, all of Genoa; Mr. and Mrs. Adam Stempek and daughter, Edna, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Starostka and family of Clarks; Mr. and Mrs.(daug) Walter Starostka and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Starostka and family, Mrs. John Swertczek and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sokol, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sock, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mick, of Silver Creek, Mr. and Mrs.(daug) John Stempek, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Jarecki, Mr. and Mrs.(daug) John Iwan, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Iwan, Mr and Mrs. Frank Jarecki, Mrs. Martin Shemek, Mrs. Belle Kula and daughter, Helen, Mr. and Mrs. (half-sis) Gus Boettcher, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Shemek, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mimick, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Galus, John Brigg and Ed Skorupa, all of Columbus, and Dominic Kula of Auburn.

Arrived in New York City from Glasgow 16 November 1878 on the ship "North Star"
