They left their marriage license there to be copied and never came back to get it. I have gotten a copy of it. It is at the Van Buren County Arkansas Museum. Joseph Henry (Mase) that is how it was spelled on the 1910 census for Van Buren County Arkansas. It should have been May. He is listed as being 39 and wife Nancy E. May as 36. Children listed at that ime with then are William A. 19, Amanda E. 14, Nancy B. 11, George H. 9, Archie L 7, and John 4. Unverified information on Joseph Henry May is that his father's name was Tom May and his mother's maiden name was Stafford. They had 2 still born children, one buried in Ada Oklahoma and 1 in Oil Trough Arkansas. Another son, Jeffery lived to be 11and is buried in Fort Smith Arkansas.
