Dorothy Mae (Meggs) Stovall, 82 of Heavener, Oklahoma died May 23, 2012 at her residence in Heavener, Oklahoma. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sulphur Cemetery, Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Born to James and Mary (Lott) Meggs May 2, 1930 in Scipio, Oklahoma. She married Raymond Stovall May 21, 1949 in McAlester, Oklahoma. In 1951 Dorothy and Raymond moved to Arizona where Dorothy worked on a farm as an equipment operator and mechanic. She later worked as a housekeeper. In 1996 they moved to Savanna, Oklahoma and then to Heavener. Dorothy loved to fish and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Faith. She is survived by, Sons, Donald Stovall and wife, JoAnn of Casa Grande, Arizona, Raymond Stovall, Jr. and wife, Katherine of Huntington, Arkansas; Daughters, Mary Grohoske and husband, Cecil of Lott, Texas, Mae Crawford of the home; Ten Grandchildren; Eleven Great Grandchildren; Brother, Lincoln Meggs of Chambers, Oklahoma; Sister, Cathy Wingo ofChambers, Oklahoma, Dora McFarland of Haileyville, Oklahoma,Lucy Nobles of Germany; Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Meggs; her husband, Raymond Stovall; Grandson, Jimmy Hensley, Jr.; brother, Connie Meggs and a sister, Doris James.

Dorothy Stovall, 82, of Heavener, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at her home. A memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Chambers Church at the intersection of West Chambers and Barnett roads. Arrangements were under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
