Motion Picture Pioneer. He developed the Steadicam, worked closely with Stanley Kubrick and was one of the motion picture industry's most influential technological innovators. He was a multiple Academy Award winner, including the Gordon E. Sawyer Lifetime Achievement Oscar in 2001. He also won an Emmy.
