My Great Grandpa,
I was blessed to grow up with 2 great grandpa's and one great grandma until I was a teenager. I called him n Augusta, Grandpa & Grandma Gussie as to not confuse them with my grandparents. He was
a loving, sweet, kind, gentle man.

During WWI, he served as a Private First Class in the Army's 357th Infantry Company L from April 1918 to April 1919. He was awarded a Purple Heart. .

He was the loving husband of Anna Schmidt Sperry and Augusta Lemke Sperry.

He was the loving father of Donald, Rolland, Robert, and Betty Lou, loving stepfather of Arno, George & Leona.

He married Anna on February 04, 1920
He married Augusta on August 30, 1956
His birth name was Grover Cleveland Irvin ( Ervin)
