Julia McClure married Major Harrison Jordan July 3, 1915 in Formosa, Arkansas. They were living in Culpepper township on the 1920 census, and Formosa was in that township. They had 3 daughters, Bernice Sybil Jordan born 1918. Bernice married Willard Garner of Scotland Arkansas, Willard and Bernice moved to Wyoming to make their living. Bernice died there on 9-12-1997. She is buried in Evanston City Cemetery, Unita County. Alma Jordan was born 9-18- 1921 in Formosa. Alma married John J. Shipley 1942 and they lived all their lives there.They had 3 children together. A baby boy was born and lived for 2 days. He is buried at Halbrook Cemetery. She died 9-6- 1993 and is buried at Halbrook Cemetery, Conway County Arkansas. Verna Jordan born June 6, 1920 in Formosa grew up and married Clarence Idus(Slim) Russell 1943 in Sikeston Missouri. They had 7 children. Verna died in 2008 and is buried by her mother Julia in Culpepper Cemetery. Major and Julia Jordan divorced 1932. Major Jordan remarried to his nephew's(Ira Jordan) widow Lou Ella Clowers Jordan. Ira and Ella had 3 children, Farrell, Virgie, and Jewell. Major Jordan died 11-29-1957 in Sikeston Missouri. Julia McClure Jordan later married Edward B. Hall, 10-30- 1940 from Scotland Arkansas, but had no children with him. Ed died 12-20-1970 in Scotland Arkansas.
