Harriet Warner was born in Galena township, LaPorte county, Indiana, January 25, 1841, and passed away October 23, 1912, at the home of her sister, Mrs. William W. Smith. She was married to Hiram Bement, March 29 1879, and has since lived on the Bement homestead until the tragic death of her husband three years ago, when she came to live with her sister. "The deceased was stricken with paralysis six years ago and has been a patient sufferer ever since.
