Mildred Francis (sic) Neer was born March 1, 1921 in Stroud, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oba Aza Earp and Gladys Burton Earp. She grew up in Midlothian area and graduated from Chandler High School. She married Louis Ned Neer on December 24,1939. She moved to Sallisaw in 2001 to be near her children. Mildred and Ned were the owners of Neer's General Store for 15 years, a resident of Sparks for 50 years and a member of Sparks Baptist Church. She loved to be with her family. Mrs. Neer passed this life May 21, 2012 in Sallisaw.


Survivors are:

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 2 pm at Sparks White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, Oklahoma with Rev. [redacted] officiating under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
