Mrs. Edith ( Smith ) Jolott, 85 of Hull's Hill Road, widow of John Jolott, passed away yesterday at the Waterbury Extended Care Facility after a short illness.

Mrs. Jolott, a lifelong resident of Southbury, was born here Dec. 5 1889, the daughter of William and Nellie ( Dixon ) Smith.

She was employed by the former Seymour Products Co. for 37 years before retiring in 1961. She was a member of the Local 1827 UAW of Seymour.

Survivors include 2 sons, three sisters, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
