MANCHESTER DEPOT - Funeral services for John Henry Reynolds, 35, will be conducted at the Brewster Funeral Home, Manchester Center, Thursday at 2 pm by Rev. Edgar Johnson, First Baptist Church pastor, of Manchester Center. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9. Mr. Reynolds died at Putnam Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Burial will be in Factory Point Cemetery, Manchester.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Sunderland July 6, 1926, son of Samuel and Grace Newell Reynolds. A World War II Veteran, he entered the service in January 1944 and was discharged in 1946. He held the World War II Victory Medal, American Area and Asiatic Pacific ribbons, the latter with one bronze star.
Survivors are his wife, Irene Quinlan Reynolds of Bristol, Conn.; two children, Jackie and Deborah, both of Bristol; and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Frost of Manchester Depot and Mrs. Eleanor Bennett of Lake Worth, Fla. Several nieces and nephews are left.
