TOPEKA - Cleo A. BONNEL, 81, Topeka, died April 3, 1991, in a nursing home here. She was born in Cummings, Kan., and moved to Topeka in 1930; to Crawfordsville, Ind., in 1946; and to Colorado Springs in 1969. She returned to Topeka in July 1990. Mrs. BONNEL was a member of the Cummings United Methodist Church. She formerly was a volunteer for churches and the American Red Cross. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Atchison, Kan.
She was a charter member of the Topeka and Kansas bowling associations and a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Ralph BONNEL of the home; a brother, William STILLINGS, Atchison; and a sister, Kae KEIRNS, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sawin-Dyer Chapel, Atchison; burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Effingham, Kan. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, where Eastern Star services will be held.
The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association.
