Edward A Tillotson, 62, died Saturday night at his home, 1746 Pearl street, after an illness of several months. He had been in the employ of Armour and Company for the past 26 years, and at the time of his death was chief auditor for Florida, Cuba, a part of Georgia and a part of South Caroline, and for the past 6 years had made his home in Jacksonville where he had made many friends. He was well known in Masonic circles, being a member of Solomon Lodge No. 20, F. and A.M. of the Scottish Rite bodies and Morocco Temple, AAONMS. Besides his widow, Mrs Millie C Tillotson, he is survived by 5 children: Mrs FA Willard of Brooklyn NY; Mrs RA Esnard of Los Angeles CA; RU Tillotson of IL; Emory and JE Tillotson of Jacksonville. Services were held on 27 March at 3pm, Rev SE Idleman, pastor of Snyder Memorial Methodist church, officiating. Interment in the family lot in West Evergreen cemetery.
