IRMO - Funeral services for Kim McCaw Barnes of Irmo will held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Union United Methodist Church, 7582 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC, with Dr. William H. Phillips officiating. Interment to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel, this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to S.C. Oncology, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. Caugh-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Barnes died Monday, April 17, 2006. Born in Columbia, a daughter of Mr. Kenneth McCaw and Mrs. Sandra L. McCaw, she was a life-long resident of Irmo. She was a graduate of Irmo High School and a member of Union United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Mr. Eric C. Barnes of the home; son, Tyler C. Barnes; daughter Tara E. Barnes; sister, Kendra M. Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Michael K. and Janet McCaw; nephew, Michael D. Brown. She was predeceased by her infant son, Eric Clayton Barnes, and her grandparents, Mr. C.R. and Mrs. Addie McCaw and Mr. E.K. Lorick and Mrs. Margaret Lorick.
