Tyler was born April 25, 1991, in Hoquiam, Wash., to Jim D. Adams and Michelle R. Dickson Adams. He lived in Hoquiam until he was 13, when the family moved to Idaho Falls. As a child, he enjoyed playing baseball with his brother, Colby. He attended Idaho Falls High School and was a 2009 graduate of Lincoln High School.
On Aug. 21, 2010, he married Erica Lyn Davis in Idaho Falls. Together they had two children, McKenzie and Bentlee. Tyler was working as a cook at Dairy Queen at the time of his death.
Tyler was also a member of the Backmarker Motorsports Car Club. He enjoyed loud music, tattoos, working on cars, the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and shooting with his dad, baseball, barbecuing, and spending time with his friends, family and children. Tyler loved playing with his kids and they were the loves of his life.
Tyler is survived by his wife, Erica Adams of Idaho Falls; daughter, McKenzie Adams of Idaho Falls; son, Bentlee Adams of Idaho Falls; parents, Jim and Michelle Adams of Idaho Falls; brothers, Colby (Rachel) Adams of Idaho Falls, Jimmy Adams of Kent, Wash., and Kyle Adams of Vancouver, Wash.; sisters, Connie Adams of Kent, Wash., and Shannon Adams and Brittany Lickey, both of Vancouver, Wash.; and grandparents, Michael and Wilma Brown of Chewelah, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Dickson and Frances V. Dickson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
