She was born in Champaign-Urbana, and grew up in Wheaton. She traveled and lived in South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Kansas, working as a project manager and software engineer.
She always enjoyed a good joke, a good golf game, and a good book.
Survivors include sisters, Suzette Walston, Holly Baillie, and her twin, Sallie Rourk; a brother, Dan Smith; step-mother, Carol Smith, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, W. Harry Smith; her mother, Ruth Lesniak; and her grandparents, Hoda and Maude Smith.
Funeral services were held at Xenia Community Churcy with burial at Oddfellows Cemetery in Xenia.
