Charlotte Leona Huffman, 74, of Wheelersburg, formerly of Peebles, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born Sept. 28, 1937, to the late Vernon and Mabel Throckmorton.
She is survived by one daughter, Creshanna (John) Williams of Wheelersburg; two brothers, Ronald (Betty) Throckmorton of Beaver, Wayne (Robin) Throckmorton of Lucasville; two grandchildren, Chelsea Workman, Chase Workman; two step grandchildren, Katie Williams, Alex Williams, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Mosley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Rev. Gary Heimbach officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 until 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of Scioto County, 1671 Grant Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662 or SOMC Hospice, 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
