DEAD - Michael McCue, an old and highly respected resident and a pioneer of Melancthon township, died at his home, Con. 2, N.E., on Monday of this week, in his 83rd year. Deceased had been in failing health for some time due to his great age, and his death has caused much regret among his many friends. His wife predeceased him several years ago. To mourn his demise are left one son, Pat McCue and three daughters, Mrs. Hillock of Inglewood, and Misses Mary A. and Agnes McCue, at home. James McCue of Melancthon is the only surviving brother. The remains were laid to rest in the R.C. cemetery, Melancthon, on Wednesday morning of this week.
