WARRENTON, DIES
City Councilman and Business-
man Succumbs to Long Ill-
ness; Final Rites Today
(Telegraph's Georgia News Service) WARRENTON. Sept. 9-Duncan Hancox Brown, 50, active in civic and business affairs, died at his home here today after a long illness.
A native of Hawkinsville, he moved to Warrenton in 1925. He was a member of city council, the Baptist church, the Kiwanis club and the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Lucy Coney: three children, Duncan H. Brown Jr., Frances Brown and Lee W. Brown; his father, R D. Brown; three brothers, R. D. Brown Jr., Frank Brown and Pope Brown; a sister, Mrs. Bradley Hogg.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon.
