Milton Berkeley, 37, 1520 Kemble, proprietor of the Berkowitz Glass Co., died Mar. 8, 1954 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, after a long illness.
He was born in Utica, Nov. 5, 1917, son of Moses and Pauline Berkowitz. He married Miss Alice Getter in Utica, June 20, 1942. He was a member of Diana Lodge F&AM, Harrisville, N.Y., and of the House of Jacob Synagogue.
Mr. Berkeley leaves his widow; his parents; a son, Richard Berkeley; three brothers, Dr. Herman Berkeley, Theodor Berkeley and Jacob Berkowitz, all of Utica; two sisters, Mrs. Saul Parker, New York and Miss Jean Berkowitz.
The funeral was yesterday afternoon from his home with Rabbi Louis Ginsberg officiating. Burial was in the House of Jacob Cemetery.
