HIGH POINT — Evangelist Mildeen Stevenson Albea, 52, born on April 3, 1960 in Bennettsville, SC was called home on Monday, May 7, 2012. She was the loving and devoted daughter of Ruby Lee Quick.

Mildeen attended public schools in High Point and was a 1978 graduate of High Point Central High School. She was last employed by Shores Dry Cleaners, but had worked at many High Point dry cleaners over a span of 25 years. Of Evangelist Mildeen's many talents was her uncanny ability to decorate a home upon request for beloved relatives and friends.

Evangelist Albea was an active member of Chosen Generation Outreach Deliverance Center led by Pastor Steven (Tamara) Kenan. Because of her loving humor, good spirit, and belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ, she was able to win many lost souls through her prayers, faith and testimony.

She leaves to mourn, her husband, Derek Albea, her "two boys", Antwon (Lekeshia) Stevenson and Rashad (Ella) Stevenson; four grandchildren Samaya, Shari, Sion and Makensie; four stepchildren, Nikisha (Bradley) Albea, Trovarus Albea, Quinton Jackson and Sharhonda Albea. She is survived by her loving mother, Ruby Quick. Aunt, Maggie Hubbard and Uncles, James Stevenson and Addison Stevenson; Her siblings, Sarah (Billie) McFadden, James Stevenson, Loria Stevenson, Betty Jackson, Anthony Stevenson and Tonya (Kim) Davis and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and life-long friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:00pm at Living Water Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Kenan, Eulogist, Pastor Darryl R. Napper Sr., Host Pastor. Visitation will begin at 1:30pm until 2:00pm at the church and other times at the family's home. Dove and burial ceremony will be at Oakwood Memorial Park.
