Washington and Malinda's son, James William Breckenridge (FAG# 46868110) owned a Country Store in Parke County, Indiana during the Civil War years before migrating to Missouri in 1880. Thirteen people, including James William Breckenridge, met at his store in November of 1874 to consider organizing a Masonic Lodge. James Wm. was later named Junior Warden of the lodge. He also served as postmaster for a period of time.
