Shreveport, LA - Mrs. Sue Gaiennie, 88, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 with a Rosary following at Osborn Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Officiating will be Rev. Msgr. Carson J. LaCaze.
Mrs. Gaiennie a lifelong resident of Shreveport, LA was born on August 1, 1923. She was a member a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a U.S. Army nurse and proudly served during WWII.
Mrs. Gaiennie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Gaiennie, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Kitty Gaiennie, Evelyn Lowry and husband, Russell and Julie Gustovich and husband, Gus; sons, William Gaiennie and Bill Hansen, Kenneth Gaiennie, III and wife, Valreeda and Paul Gaiennie; and four wonderful grandchildren, Kayla, Hannah, Jake and Seth. She was much loved and will be missed by many.
The family requests that memorials be made to charity of the donors' choice.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her family at The Azalea Estates.
