Marguerite Holmes Aman, age 100, passed away May 6, 2012.

She was born January 31, 1912, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to the late Louis and Mabel (Hurd) Erickson. Marguerite was a lifetime and the oldest member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Holmes and Loran Aman; son, Loran Aman; siblings, Clare and Russell.

Marguerite is survived by her children, Richard Holmes (Dixie), David Holmes, Niel Holmes, Lynn Holmes, Carol Bertelsen (Arlon), Janet Sinner (Jim); 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home and Crematory. Viewing and visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church or Mohm's Place.
