Nancy Grace Bell Segars, age 89 of New Holland, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at her residence following a extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 pm Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Robert Nix will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-9 Monday, February 5, 2007 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Segars was born in Banks County, to the late William Henry Bell and Nancy Roberts Bell, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jody Segars. Mrs. Segars was a charter member of Eastview Baptist Church and also a charter member of East Hall Baptist Church, where she was very active before her declining health.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Jo and Richard Wilson, Gainesville, Aline and Donald Meeks, Gillsville, Elizabeth and Doyle McQueen, Gillsville, sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Glenda Segars, Gainesville, Donald and Bonnie Segars, Jefferson, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 1 brother-in-law, several sister-in-laws and a number of nieces and nephews.
