OBITUARY:
Hillsdale, Mich. — Donna A. Beebe, 89, of Hillsdale, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born Oct. 5, 1922 in Lenawee County to Lloyd and Hazel (Harsh) Baragar. She was married April 20, 1941 to Wells Beebe and he preceded her in death Jan. 28, 2009.
Donna was the secretary and book keeper for the family business, Hillsdale Cartage. She was a graduate of Adrian High School and a member of the College Baptist Church of Hillsdale.
Surviving are two children, Sharon (John) Flowers of Crystal Falls and William Beebe of Las Vegas, Nev.; a grandson, Jake Flowers, of Seward, Alaska; and two sisters, Dorothy Morse and Nancy Polhemus, both of Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services for Donna Beebe will be Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsdale. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
