Frances Concepcion Alber, 70, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Heritage of Bridgeport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, September 3rd, 2005 at All Soul's Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Fr. David Rykwalder officiating. Interment will be at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery. Bridgeport Memorial Chapel and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
She was born January 25, 1935 in Hondo, TX to Pablo and Aurora Sandoval. She was second to the youngest of eight siblings and they were migrant workers. She never attended school, but traveled through many states. She lived life to the fullest and never new any strangers. She was a member of All Soul's Catholic Church in Bridgeport, and has resided at the Heritage of Bridgeport for the last couple of years.
She is survived by her daughters; Dee and husband Bruce Mitchell of Bridgeport, Diane and husband Dave McCabe, Delma and husband Jesse Arias all of Phoenix, AZ; son Jessie Hernandez of Bridgeport; special friend Smitty Woznick of Bridgeport; brother Felipe Sandoval of Hondo, TX; sisters Mary Martinez of Topeka, KS, Andrea Arias, Delores Gonzales all of Hondo, TX; grandchildren Tony Mitchell, Tommy Mitchell, Ben and wife Jessika Mitchell, Beth and husband Cody Rodgers; nine great-grandchildren and two unborn great-grandchildren which she was anxious to see. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and all of her adopted kids and grandkids. Her parents, two brothers, one sister, one husband and one great-granddaughter precede her in death.
