Abigail Strickland Berry, age 94, of Cary, NC died peacefully at her residence on June 11, 2008. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus on Saturday, June 14, 2008, with Reverend Rick Davison officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 9:30 Ð 10:30 a.m.
Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her husband, William Horace Berry. She is survived by her two sons, James Carlton Berry, Sr. of New Albany, Indiana and Richard Eugene Berry of Cary, North Carolina, four grandchildren, James Carlton Berry, Jr., Jana Elizabeth Berry Auspland, Richard Dodd Berry, Gregory Alan Berry, and six great grandchildren, Trey, Grant and Abby Berry, Bailey Rae, Christian Auspland, and Nathan Berry .
