He became a regular supporting player for Universal Pictures, where he appeared in films such as "Ghost Ship" (1943), "The Invisible Man's Revenge" (1944), "House of Dracula" (1945), "Terror by Night" (1946) and "Bedlam" (1946). He also had on the television series "Dick Tracy", "Boston Blackie", "Cavalcade America", G.E. True Theatre" and "TV's Readers Digest". He died of cirrhosis of the liver at age 43.
