Lacy B. Castleberry survived the War Between the States. Lacy died Sept. 1874 according to the Confederate Widows Pension filed by his wife Elizabeth Parker. His wife Elizabeth Parker Castleberry moved with her brother Martin Parker (husband of Lacy's sister Mary Ann Castleberry ) to Pine Valley, Mississippi. Elizabeth never re-married. Elizabeth is buried in the old Tabernacle Church Cemetery where her brother Martin Parker was the pastor until his death in Pine Valley. Children of Lacy and Elizabeth are also buried at Tabernacle Church Cemetery. Lacy died in Jefferson County, AL. His property was on the Coosa/Jefferson County AL line.
