Funeral services for Ruby Schiller Toman Beathard, 81, of Bellville, were
held Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at 2:00 pm from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel
in Bellville, with Rev. David Henske officiating. Interment was in Pilgrims
Rest Cemetery in Bellville. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, John
Jasek, Jason Druckhammer, and Drew Toman; nephews, Larry Schneider and Mark
Schiller and Rob Bailey, Jacquelyn Toman; and the rest of Ruby's neices and
nephews.
Born in Sealy, Ruby was the daughter of Frank and Louise (Janecek) Schiller.
She was raised in Sealy and attended Sealy schools. Ruby Louise Schiller was
joined in marriage to Mr. Julius Toman in Wallis on July 14, 1946. Mr. Toman
died on March 5, 1979. Ruby married Mr. Lloyd Beathard in Bellville on March
17, 1984. Mr. Beathard died on January 2, 2004. Ruby was a wonderful mom,
grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed taking care of all her family.
Ruby loved gardening, fishing, hunting and playing poker. Ruby Schiller
Toman Beathard died Sunday, March 18, 2007, in Bellville.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Karen Heinlen and husband, Russell, of
Bellville, Glenda Druckhammer and husband, Gilbert, of Navasota, Kim Miranda
and husband, Mike, of Brenham; sons, Glen Toman and Janice Kokemor of
Bellville, Dale Toman and wife, Kathryn, of Bellville, Allen Toman of
Bellville, and Julius J. Toman, Jr., of Shelby; sister Alma Mewis and Alma's
son, John, of Bellville; grandchildren, John Jasek, Melissa Burke and husband,
Paul, Mandy Bailey and husband, Rob, Jason Druckhammer, Jacquelyn Toman, Drew
Toman, and Chris Toman; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Louise Schiller; husbands, Julius
Toman and Lloyd Beathard; son Gary Wayne Toman; sister, Aldine Schiller;
brothers, Edmund, Dennis, and Aldon Schiller.
