Born on 23 Feb 1947 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, John George "Buster" Adami, Jr. was the first born child of Grant Edwin Adami, Jr. and Elmira Mendez. He grew up in Freer Duval County, Texas with two sisters and four brothers. He received a full scholarship to play football for Texas A&M University in 1965. After graduating from Texas A&M, he attended and graduated from Baylor Law School in 1972. He practiced law for 32 years in Alice, Jim Wells County, Texas. He was married, and had two daughters and one son. Buster died on 30 Sep 2005 in Alice, Jim Wells County, Texas. Services were on 4 Oct 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Alice and he was buried at the Adami Ranch Cemetery west of Freer, Duval County, Texas.
