Doreen June Baldwin-Hemphill (Reese), the youngest child of Glen and Rose (Reese) Hemphill, was only three when the family moved to the West from Minnesota so she did not recall much about living in Minnesota but does remember coming to visit. When she lived in White City, Oregon she followed somewhat in her mother's footsteps. She took in boarders in her mobile home, although not on as large a scale as did Rose Hemphill. Doreen retired from Weldon's Professional Dry Cleaners and moved to Emmett, Idaho.
In 2011, she returned to White City, Oregon to live with her oldest daughter Susan Dobbins. After battling lung cancer for several years she passed away quietly with her family at her bedside on her 72nd birthday, March 3rd, 2012. What a birthday present, a homecoming to be with the Lord.
Her children include: Susan Rose Dobbins (Born October 7, 1958) She has 2 boys and 2 step children, Glenda Louise Lucero (Born April 15, 1961) she has 2 daughters, 1 son and she is raising her grandson, Rev. Kevin Robert Airrington (Born February 5th, 1968) he has 4 sons and 3 daughters, Kimberly Doreen Nicastro (Born May 21, 1971) she has a 2 daughters, 1 son and step son. Doreen has many great grand children.
She was divorced from Robert Airrington for many years. She married Robert Baldwin in May 1958 and they divorced. Incredibly, after losing contact they found each other and they remarried him nearly 25 years later on 20 May 1983.
