SULLIVAN -- Vivian I. Hamilton, 88, of Sullivan died 7:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 5, 1996) in Sullivan Health Care Center.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, with the Rev. Glen Stewart officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials: Titus Memorial Home or Sullivan First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hamilton was born in Charleston on April 16, 1907, the daughter of Charles and Ethel Henderson. She was co-owner of Hamilton's Mens Store in Sullivan and for many years was a member of Sullivan First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Lydia Fellowship. She married Corwin M. Hamilton on June 22, 1930, in Charleston. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1958.

Surviving are her son, David Hamilton and wife Nancy of Sullivan; grandson, John Hamilton of Columbia City, Ind.; great-granddaughter, Jennifer Hamilton of Charleston; brother, Lyle Henderson of Vernon Hills; sister, Jean Marlin of Oregon, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, John Henderson.
