Kit married Nettie Ford on Sep-08-1897 at Reno twp., Leavenworth Co., KS. Marriage License/Certificate, Douglas Co., KS; Rec. 8, pg. 351.

He married 3 times altogether: Anna Belle Tuttle Nov 04, 1891; Nettie Serena Ford, on Sep 08, 1897; and Nell B. on Nov 1920

Lawrence Journal World, Sept 24, 1918: When Kit was driving his car, he had an accident, colliding with an electric car on a track. His passengers, his wife Nettie, and his brother Herbert Davis died. Nettie and Hebert were buried together, sharing one tombstone.

Kit sold his dairy farm in Lawrence, KS in 1921. He moved back to Carlisle Co., KY.
