Mrs. Blissit was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grand-mother, and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Turner Blissit, Jr. who died in 1991, and one brother.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lou Blissit of Palm Springs, Calif., Sara Jane Clevenger of Little Rock; a son, James T. Blissit and wife Karen of Little Rock; grandchildren, Christi Wygal and Elizabeth Clevenger of Little Rock, and Paul Wesley Blissit of Fayetteville; and great grand-children, Wesley Wygal and Caroline Wygal.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services which will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2006 in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home officiated by Rev. John Fleming. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
