Brian was born in New Malden, Surrey, England, the son of Bernard and Amy Baldwin. He immigrated to California in May of 1957. He married Pat Hayden in 1960. After Pat passed away in 1999, Brian married Judy Short in 2000.
Brian was employed by IBM, initially in California, later at Endicott, New York, and finishing his career in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Brian retired to the Lake Norman area, about 25 miles north of Charlotte, in 1992. He was active in the AARP Tax Aide program, and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, Judy.
Brian passed away Jan. 1, 2007 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center from acute melogenous leukemia.
