BOETTICHER, Carlos "Buck" 69, of Springfield passed away on May 1, 2012 in Villa of Springfield. He was born on September 6, 1942 in Jerusalem, Ohio the son of Garrett and Margaret (Smith) Boetticher. He served our country in the United States Army. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 6, AMVETS Post 25, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 397 Aerie. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Diana E. (West) Boetticher, two daughters: Sherri and Angella Boetticher of Florida; one son, Carlos Scott Boetticher of North Ft. Myers, Florida; six siblings: Mona Lauterbach, Connie Hamilton, Norma Boetticher, Linda Boetticher, Larry Boetticher, and Patti Bowen; four grandchildren: Kristale (Chris) Mayo, Charles (Kristine) Beckett, Sampson Kelly, and Brittany Crabtree; five great grandchildren: Alydia, Lindsey, Liam, Collin, and Isabel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Virginia Mitchell, Ila Johnson, and his twin, Arlis; and one brother, Garrold. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 5-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Rose Hill Cemetery Chapel, with Pastor Paul Dowdy officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Rd., Springfield, OH 45504.
