Richard Lord was the son of my ancestors, WILLIAM & HATTIE (NICKERSON) LORD. He married Elizabeth Hyde 1681/82 in Lyme Villiage, New London, CT.
He was appointed Ensigne of the Lyme Trainband, Oct. 1703, and Deputy for Lyme to the Conn. Gen. Court, Oct. 1719.
