Helen Ruby (maiden Coffee) Wall was born on October 20, 1920, in Amarillo, TX to Josephine B. Merrell and Ruben Francis Coffee(y). She was one of 4 girls. Her siblings' names were: Evelyn, Gladys, and Maudie. She served her country proudly during WWII and was stationed at Los Alamos during the intense war effort to develop the first Nuclear Bomb. She is listed as Helen Fauske on the Women's WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. Helen's only child is son Jerry Willis who survives her passing on July 15, 2005.

Helen lived in Roswell, New Mexico where she owned and operated a beauty salon for years and raised her son Jerry. Helen moved to San Jose, CA in @1985 to be closer to her son and baby sister Maudie who passed away on September 17, 2004. Both Helen and her baby sister Maudie are buried in the Veterans section at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Helen was active in her church. She was good person with a big heart. She continued to cut her baby sister Maudie's hair until the last month of her life. The sisters remained close throughout their lives. Helen adored her son, Jerry. Helen and her sister Maudie's markers are about 8 rows apart and they both have photos on their markers.
