Patrick Henry O'Neal, 101, of Fayetteville, formerly of Russellville, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Fayetteville Veterans Home in Fayetteville, AR.

The son of Henry and Marie O'Neal, he was born March 2, 1911 in Kerlin, Ar. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and also served during Korea. He was a farmer and enjoyed watching his sports teams, the Dallas Cowboy, the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Norma O'Neal; his parents; sister, Augusta Crawford of Texarkana, AR; and brother, William O'Neal of Texarkana, AR.

Survivors include his son, Thomas E. O'Neal and wife Betty of Peachland, NC; four daughters, Diane O'Neal Cook and husband William of Rogers, Patricia "Peggy" Robertson of Little Rock, Pamela O'Neal and husband John Clardy of Bellingham, WA, Mary Lou Goodson and husband Mike of Russellville; 11 grandchildren, David Jones and wife Andrea of Rogers, Carole Jones of Fayetteville, Father Shawn O'Neal of Bryson City, NC, Laura Laney and husband Michael of Peachland, NC, Dr. Sarah Robertson and husband Scott Liles of Russellville, Craig Jones and wife Holli of Houston, TX, Michele Eickman and husband Tim of Elkhorn, NE, Mark Goodson and wife Katie of Baton Rouge, LA, Adam Clardy-O'Neal of Portland, OR, Matt Goodson and Fiance' Kristi Anderson of Fayetteville, Meredith Curtis and husband Andrew of Fayetteville; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2012 at East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, TX. Military honors will be provided. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday at Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville. Memorials may be made to the Victory Baptist Church Building fund, Patrick O'Neal Memoriam, PO Box 10905, Russellville, AR 72812.
