Hinesville Robert Raymond Finnell (AKAL Bob), 56, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Winn Army Hospital. He lived in Hinesville the past 21 years. He retired from the US Army in 1996 after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Scott Finnell. Survivors are his wife of 33 years Monika Finnell of Hinesville; children Steve Kaiser (Shawn Loflin) of Atlanta, Sarah Finnell Lindsey (Austin Lindsey) of Houston, Tx, Samantha Sue Ellen Finnell Santiago (Edwin Santiago, Jr) of Hinesville, and Sean Eric Raymond Finnell (Audrianna Minter Finnell) of Warner Robbins, Ga; Brother William Finnell of Olympia, Washington; Sister Anna Finnell of Olympia, Washington; 6 grandchildren Destiny, Steven, Nicole, Javon, Natalie, and Jeremiah. Visitation will be 6-8p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Graveside service will be at 1:00p.m. Saturday at Oglethorpe Memorial Park with Full Military Honors.
