Born July 15, in Lee County, she was the daughter of Edmond O. and Charlotte (Rudd) Senf. She married Joseph W. Hoenig on May 15, 1930, in Fort Madison. He died May 30, 1990.
Mrs. Hoenig was a homemaker.
She was a 60 year member of Sacred Heart Church and also was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies Auxiliary and Farm Bureau.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Hoenig of Fort Madison; three daughters, Ruth Lowder of Davenport, Dorothy Taeger of West Burlington and Mary Driscoll of Marengo; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Howard Senf of Denmark.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Visitation will begin at noon Monday at King-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison, where there will be a rosary recited at 3 p.m. and a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Hoenig will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. George Hoenig officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
