Henry Walsh Hudson, the seven month's old infant of S.R. Hudson, died at the home of his father at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, July 23, 1901, after a lingering illness of several months.
The little infant had always been a delicate child, but every precaution and care was thrown about his life by a loving father to strengthen the slender thread of his vitality.
The babe was born December 6th, 1900, and was the only child of the present grief stricken parent, whose hopes were centered in this young life.
The funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by Rev. J.W. Smith, burial following at Newport Cemetery.
