WWII Vet ~ Age 96 Lifelong Resident of North St. Paul Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 21, 2011.

Preceded in death by parents Joseph J. & Minnie; wife Dorothy; brothers Irving & Clarence; special friend Ellen Wallin.

Survived by children Gary (Jeannie), Robert (Rita), Susan Bustrak (Chris); grandchildren Gary Jr., Dan, Tim (Holly), Sandy Green, Paul, Sara DiVenturi (Tony), Michelle Bustrak, Joseph Bustrak; great grandchildren Brady, Brandon, Allison, Jonah Green, Tyler Pittman; other relatives & dear friends.

Graduate of North High. Served as a postal clerk in The Phillipines & Japan in WWII. After the war, he was a letter carrier in Dayton's Bluff, Gladstone & North St. Paul until he retired.

He went to daily Mass at Church of St. Peter until health forced him to move to Rosewood Estates in Roseviile 8 years ago.

Many thanks to all the staff & friends at Rosewood for all their caring & kindness, and to the hospice staff at HealthPartners for their comfort & care the last few weeks.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (10/25) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Church of St. Peter or donor's choice.
