Asa B. Brown, 80, 1401-6th East, died of natural causes Dec. 6 in a Salt Lake hospital. Born July 23, 1888, Salt Lake City, to Walter and Emerette Brown. Married Mable Waspe, 1919, Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died. Married Edith Cleverly, Elko, Nev., 1960. Service station operator. Survivors: widow; sons, daughter, Walter W., Scotts Bluff, Neb.,; A. Richard, Calvin D., both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ralph (Virginia) Price, Menlo Park, Calif.; stepsons, stepdaughters, Raymond J. and Robert B. Cleverly, Mrs. Roland (Marie Sahleen, Mrs. Fred (Frances) Sharp, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Balderson, Bountiful; 38 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Everean Radley, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Maude Short, Elko, Nev. Funeral Tuesday 2 p.m., 36 E. 7th South, where friends call Monday 6-8 p.m., Tuesday before services. Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery.
