Arcy Krey died Wednesday at the St. John District Hospital, St. John, Stafford County, Kansas. The son of John and Mildred Krey, he was born Feb. 22, 1901 near Sylvia, Reno County, Kansas. On March 22, 1922, he married Myrtle E. Heggy in Stafford County. The couple had made their home in Great Bend since 1938. A member of the Nazarene church in Stafford, Mr. Krey was a farmer and stockman.

Survivors include the widow, sons in Odessa, Texas, Manter, Kansas and two in Richfield; daughters in the Kansas communities of Ness City and Seward, plus Monrovia, California; brothers Forrest of Wheatland, Ernest of Montezuma and Ralph of Garden City; sisters Holly Zenoniani of Hutchinson; Mattie Uphouse of Spring Hill, Ferne Housinger of Kannewich, Washington plus Goldie Rock of Douglas, Wyoming; and 18 grandchildren plus two great grandchildren.

Services were Sept. 24 at the Peacock-Milton Chapel, Stafford, Kansas with the Rev. Ralph Hughes in charge. Burial at the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials to the church.
