Morgan Alexander was born Feb. 16, 1859 in Warren County, Iowa, USA to Abraham B Alexander, born in Indiana, and Abraham's wife Mary Ann Bishop Alexander who had been born in Ohio. Morgan grew up in Warren County, IA. Siblings included older sister Samantha, and younger siblings, Walter, Sythia, Viola, Milton, Alfred, and Ira. In 1883 Morgan married Margaret "Maggie". They lived for several years in Mills County, Iowa and in Fremont County, Iowa before his death May 21, 1933. To this union were born 8 children. Some of those children were, Mattie M, Lucy E, Bessie H., Willard C., Carrie M., and Mabel J. In the 1930 census, Morgan and Margaret were living in Scott township, Fremont County, Iowa and Morgan at age 71 was engaged in general farming. Daughter Mable and her husband of less than a year, Vernnie Aubery, were also living with Morgan and his wife. Morgan passed away May 21, 1933 and was buried in the Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa.
